Heavy lifting no problem-Overhead cranes
When the two banks of the river are connected with each other by the means of a bridge the it usually employs the use of a great many tools and intensive labour but the most important of them all is the overhead cranes which are also known as the bridge crane because of its extensive use for lifting loads while a bridge is being constructed. They are however employed in many other industrial applications like the steel industry where it handles the steel till it is a finished product. The paper industries employ the use of the overhead cranes to lift the heavy paper rolls and other similar utilities. These overhead cranes work on the principle of hook and line mechanism.
There is a hook attached to the strong cables. The hook is used to attach the load to the equipment while the lifting force is transmitted to it by the rope which runs along two rails on the beam. The beams and the cables can be constructed with a number of materials depending upon the load the crane is supposed to lift like carbon steel, etc. You can even order your own specifications for your cranes and get them constructed according to your wish.
